Request Your Data
Go to your Instagram profile's settings or use this direct link to Instagram's Info and Permissions page. Request a download, making sure to select the JSON format. This is a standard Instagram feature.
- Go to your Profile and tap the Menu icon (☰) in the top-right corner.
- Tap Accounts Center, then select Your information and permissions.
- Tap Export your information, then Create export.
- Select the profile you want the data from and tap Next.
- Choose Export to device and then you can select Some of your information to specifically choose Followers and Following data.
- Select your desired Format (JSON is usually best for analysis), Media quality, and Date range.
- Tap Request download. Instagram will prepare your data and email you a link to download the ZIP file.

Upload The ZIP File
Instagram will email you a link to a `.zip` file. You don't need to open it. Just come back to our homepage and upload the entire file to our tool.
